Meghann Pauls’ name might not be on the sign at Mike Dianna’s Grill Room, but as the owner she gives her heart and soul to this longtime favorite Corolla restaurant. Working her way up from wait staff in 2002 to owner in 2016, Pauls is dedicated to perfecting the art of brunch and dinner for locals and visitors in her hometown of Corolla. She takes extra time to source high-quality ingredients such as USDA Prime beef, local seafood and all-natural chicken and pork, much of which is cooked to perfection on the restaurant’s signature wood-fired grill. Brunch is served all day, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and you can order whatever suits your palate, from burgers in the morning to biscuits and omelettes in the afternoon. The restaurant offers an ever-changing specials menu, a children’s menu, indoor and outdoor dining and a full bar with an excellent wine list, plus they can easily cater to gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy-related dining restrictions.
