Top-Notch Thursday
This morning started off with a small storm; we did our best to avoid it by running to the south end of the bridge to green island. We caught around 25 baby Black Sea bass which we released back into the sound. We caught several puffer fish and pin fish. Jack caught a 15 inch flounder! We also caught around 14 sea mullets and 1, 13 inch sea mullet.
Our rare catch of the morning was a 12 inch sheepshead!!
This afternoon we went up the channel and caught a handful of croakers. We then stopped at the hill where we caught 3 sea mullet. We then went closer to the bridge where we caught a decent amount of lizard fish, 7 baby Black Sea bass, 4 puffer fish, and 4 keeper grey trout!
Our rare catch of the afternoon was 2 puppy drums!!
Our twilight cruise tonight we caught a handful of lizard fish. We also caught around 15 pig fish and 10 pin fish. We also, snagged the a 12 inch flounder!
