Event Description:
In celebration of National Public Works Week 2025 (May 18 - 24, 2025), Nags Head's Public Services Department will host an open house at their new complex on Lark Avenue in the north end of town.
Named in honor of long-time elected official Renée Cahoon, the complex is home to six vital divisions that represent a third of the Town's personnel. The campus features a combined fleet maintenance, sanitation, and facilities maintenance building, a water distribution building with office spaces and storage areas, and an area for vehicle washing and fueling. The new facility also includes a new administration building and a redesigned bulk waste/recycling area.
