Event Description:
The North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island and Jockey’s Ridge State Park had such a good time hosting the spring Star Party, we decided to do it again this fall! Check out the night sky at Dowdy Park in Nags Head at the OBX Fall Star Party on November 17th. The lights will be dimmed to allow the public to view the setting sun and the night sky through telescopes provided by the Back Bay Amateur Astronomy Club and the OBX Astronomy Club. Be sure to collect a copy of the November night sky chart for later viewing!
