Event Description: 

Join us for a live presentation on the unique history of Richard Etheridge and the Pea Island Lifesavers. Etheridge, a slave taught to read and write, was the nation's first African American keeper, while Station Pea Island was the only black station in the history of the lifesaving service.

Catch performances at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
