Event Description: 

Have fun in the sun and dive into science to explore aquatic ecosystems on the Outer Banks! Get wet in the waves at the beach, muck around for crabs in the salt marsh, and splash on a snorkeling adventure at the YMCA for an underwater view. Open your eyes to some awesome bivalves-oysters! by visiting the Coastal Federation to learn more about them and their importance to the ecosystem. Other exciting activities include fishing, a squid dissection, crabbing, stand-up paddleboarding and meeting a few animal ambassadors up close. Wrap-up the week with a little friendly competition in Beach Olympics.

Closed toe shoes and a bag lunch are required. Booster seat, if required.

*Please note: Shuttle space is limited in the morning during this week. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis with returned completed paperwork.*
