Roanoke Island Explorers - Nature Play Camp
Event Description:
Explore the natural world on the aquarium grounds as you dig into nature and the art of nature play. Campers will go on a rainbow nature hunt, make crunchy tree bark sandwiches at the “nature café”, and craft outdoor animal habitats. A large portion of each day will be spent outside (weather permitting) immersed in natural learning activities, nature play and crafts. Find indoor animal friends during aquarium exploration and visit with animal ambassadors during creature features.
Campers must bring sunscreen, hat, closed-toe shoes and a bag lunch for the day. Additional snacks will be provided. Shuttle service is not available.
