A Golden Anniversary for a Golden Birthday ✨
🐚 Since 1976, the North Carolina Aquariums have welcomed millions of visitors seeking a deeper connection to the state’s underwater ecosystems. This year marks a major milestone, and to honor the North Carolina Aquariums’ 50th anniversary, the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island is inviting guests to take part in Golden Tides: A 50th Celebration, on 📅 Saturday, Sept. 12, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This will be an unforgettable evening dedicated to history, community and coastal heritage. Admission includes two drink tickets, unlimited seafood and snacks, a commemorative photo and additional take-home gifts.
🌊 Golden Tides will feature sustainable, locally sourced seafood from Cousins’ Oysters. Johanna’s Catering will prepare a selection of hearty hors d’oeuvres, rounding out a menu that celebrates local ingredients and environmental responsibility. Throughout the evening, live music will fill the aquarium. Local performers Sam on Sax and Joe Mapp and the Coordinates will provide entertainment, bringing coastal-inspired sounds to the event and enhancing the overall ambiance. See you there!
