OBBC May 18th

Our surf this AM is only in the Waist to Chest high range with onshore messy surface conditions. Arthur is on our minds first thing this morning. The center of the storm is still behind both Cape Hatteras and Cape Lookout blocking the majority of swell from the East facing beaches.  There is more swell on the South facing beaches but with winds ENE causing onshore and sloppy everywhere. The good news is our water temps have jumped to the low 60’s. Tides today are Low at 11:26am and High at 5:46pm.  The storm is fast moving and will be off our coast by this evening. Look for that increase in the swell but  messy condition to continue through the day. Enjoy your Day.
