This Morning brings the first day in along time that I have seen the surf Pretty much unrideable. I only observed one wave that broke off the beach. That wave was knee high and our winds are SSW at 0-5mph. One factor is High tide is 7:56am but there is just not much energy in the ocean. Could be a longboard wave to ride a few hours around Low tide which is 2:01pm. Our water temp is right around 70. The forecast is for continued SSW winds increasing 10-15mph. It appears the center of the tropical storm will be over the Raleigh area on Tuesday which is good news for us but bad news for a whole lot of surf. Really hoping it would of stayed out in the ocean while passing by. Maybe next one. Enjoy your Day.
