All Week the Winds Have Toyed With Us.
The weather hasn't been the fisher's friend this week. When we have been able to get out, the fish have been cooperative. Lots of puppy drum are cruising the area and are hungry. Speckled trout have been found in decent numbers too, ranging from 10"s to 27"s. Flounder are here in good numbers too, but they must be returned to the water currently. for the fly fisher's the Dirty Harry has been a top producer. Mainly in raspberry color, but rootbeer and chartreuse have been working well too. for those that prefer to spin fish, popping corks with jigs dressed up with Gulp or Z-man bodies is the way to go.
