Picture perfect day!!  Hopefully, folks are out there catching fish, as I was not at the shop today, but the warm weather sure is nice. The north wind we had for the last couple of days can really cool the fishing down, and it just takes a bit to rebound. Some bluefish from the piers today is all I was able to pick up on. Tomorrow should also be nice out and then we cool off a touch, but overall conditions should be good. Some good news, and as you have all heard, the bluefin fishing got shut down, but you can still get these fish from a charter boat, so all is not lost. You do need at least a six hour trip to get them or to find them, but you can still land one of these beauties. Offshore boats have been landing all of the yellowfin you want, and there have been some big eye tuna in the mix with blackfin and some king mackerel and with one mahi a couple of days ago, but all good signs. That's about all I have for today, and I will be in the shop tomorrow, so I will see what news I can find.

Charters are available, just call the shop or e-mail me, and I will be glad to get you all set up.

Have a fishing photo? You can send it to obxbaitandytackle@yahoo.com, and we will proudly post you in the next report, and we  thank you.
