It's just that easy!! Brendon is at it again getting this 26" drum this morning. He popped in for a cooler when we opened and left then about an hour later brought this guy in and so far in the last few days he has caught a few drum all on shrimp. Brendon is also going to be the one doing surf fishing lessons this year as well and I hope to have all the info on the main website soon. We have never had anyone up here doing this but we do now and he will also be doing shark fishing for those interested in learning how to catch and release these fish. He will be doing morning and evening lessons and if interested just call the shop for details.
I was all done with the report when I noticed that George was also just getting in today and had asked what was going on I told him and he nailed this 32" throwback drum that he sent to me and I had just noticed in the e-mail caught yesterday at dusk so well done George.
So we do have drum around with some mullet trying to move up the beach and I believe we had some shad jumping in the surf yesterday. Today we have hazy skies with clean 2 to 3-foot waves and we are holding at 56-degree water temp. Down south we are picking up some bluefish activity along with some mullet with some trout at times around Avalon Pier. There has been some sheepshead caught off the old Bonner bridge. Further down I think at ramp 38 and down to the point the drum have been biting this morning and they have been petty good size to them from what I have seen along with blues and mullet.
Offshore fishing is also heating up a bunch of boats went out this morning and they are getting a good bite on blackfin, yellowfin, king mackerel, and some mahi so the fishing in the Gulf Stream is already going off!!

We have charters available from 1/2 day to all day both sound side and ocean fishing. My all day boat is available and at a price that know one will beat along with offering surf fishing lessons and a new fish cleaning service. We have it all call the shop for bookings and pricing, and we thank you I will keep you posted as the fishing begins to heat up!!
