Corolla Fish Report
Hump Day is here. We do have calm conditions today and we have some bluefish moving in finally!! We have seen some bait schools in the area and now we have some fish to follow. Kitty Hawk is reporting 1 to 3 lb. bluefish with some trout and drum. These fish seem to be on the bite around noon and on and this week that's when we have high tide so something to bear in mind. With any luck we will see some of the larger blues come in as well. The fish are biting on mullet and I would suggest also using a wire leader to protect your lure and or bottom rig. Our water temp is still at 56 degrees but it is slightly higher to the south so just maybe will see or get some higher water temps which will improve the fishing greatly. Some news is better than no news so I will take it for now. The offshore fleet is still strong with yellowfin and some mahi and king mackerel.
