OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report
Monday, May 20, 2024
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

More of the same today, nasty north wind and the ocean is angry. Tomorrow we still see a north wind but not as strong but the surf will remain rough. I do see a wind change for Wednesday threw the rest of the week so we will get a break. With the weather the way it is I just haven't heard much of anything from the beach except for some fish lying up on shore which probably means that the bluefish are still here we will have to wait for better conditions to see. The water temp did fall but should rebound once this north wind goes away. Charters up here in Corolla are catching plenty of keeper drum and trout. Not many boats running in the ocean what with the weather but there were a couple that did run. Nearshore had blues and spanish and offshore had good-grade yellowfin.

Charters are available call for details.
