Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Patience pays off!! I finally received some pictures sent in by Linda Hensley and company along with her brother-in-law Joe Fierro fishing at milepost 24 this group had some great drum action up there and thanks for the pictures, Linda!! Bill Boston sent in his catch no drum but non-stop action on mullet with some smaller blues and sharks. If you don't know mullet are great to eat and Bill caught a bucket of them. so last week we had some great fishing and now as we move into a new week we just need the action to continue. Today under foggy skies the water temp is up a notch to 66 degrees and it is flat and calm out there with 0 to 1 foot waves with a high tide at 9:22 this morning. Since it is the weekend I am not seeing any other reports this morning. The nearshore fleet is still on the run with cobia, spanish, and blues. The offshore fleet has been catching lots of good-grade yellowfin and mahi.

We do have charters available.

Send your photos and questions to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com   and we thank you!!
