Corolla Fish Report
I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day off no matter where you spent it. We had a pretty good storm roll threw last night around 7 pm which was fun to watch and the photo is from the Bonner Pier cam. News from the beach is it seems a little on the slow side this week but we have had some drum caught along with bluefish still biting and mullet. The water is nice and clear but no wave action at all this week so far. The water temp today is 63 so we are seeing the temperature bounce around just a touch but still in the good range. No news from the piers this week. The offshore report for yesterday was good with some big amberjacks, yellowfin, mahi, tilefish, and white and blue marlin. Nearshore boats are after the cobia along with spanish and blues. We even had some cobia landed sound side up here in Corolla by our captain Josh. There should be plenty of sunshine for the next couple of days so get out there and enjoy it!!
