What a start to the week. If you did not pick this week to come to the Outer Banks then you are the lucky ones. Exploding batteries at a golf cart plant on the mainland just across the bridge on check-in day. They closed 158 down in both directions and the traffic was backed up almost to Moyock. To add insult to injury on Highway 12 by the airport there was a head-on crash and of course, they closed the road in both directions. To put it simply you couldn't move and took hours to get in yesterday. Going home yesterday was a nightmare.

No reports just yet as the newbies are just getting started and the water is cold from the west wind but it will rebound. The only thing I have heard today is a lot of spot. The boats should be back up and ready to go and we do have a favorable afternoon wind today we will see if that helps. I will try to have more tomorrow.

Charters are available just call the shop to book yours.
