The fishing has been slow so what do you do well we call it SHARK WEEK!! The Davis family is in town and sent in the first pic for today we have Cody, Kevin, Kenny, Chris, and Collin they waited very patiently for the shop to get some bait in as we had run out but it came together just in the nick of time and they got one, great bunch of guys and they will keep at it tonight as well. Drew is back at it and lost one but he didn't lose the second !! Great job Drew and thanks for sending your photo in as well.

Overall we are seeing some mullet with a bunch of croakers out there but the water and tides have been off this week so I believe the spanish and blues are holding in deeper water it has just been an off week as far as the fishing goes. The water is still cold today and it is windy. Offshore did make it out and found a good amount of yellowfin, blackfin, and some very nice wahoo. We have reached the halfway point in the 100 days of hell which we like to call the time between Memorial Day and Labor Day so we are going to be closed tomorrow and reward ourselves with a day off as we desperately both need we are exhausted and hungry. We will be back at it on Friday, July 19th.

We do have charters you can call the shop on Friday to book your trip.

Send your fishing photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
