A good Tuesday and the fishing continues to be good. Last night the bluefish and spanish came out to play and the spanish were good size. During the day we are seeing a lot of croakers, mullet and kingfish with flounder. The water temps however have been all over the place the last couple of days as there is what seems like pockets of warm and cold water in various places and if you're fishing in the right pocket you will find the fish. Some complaints with the sea grass today and it has been around the last couple of days but it also seems to be in certain areas or you just need to cast out farther to get away from it. The offshore fleet had a good day with big eye tuna showing up and mixed in are blackfin tuna with lots of mahi and apparently, there is a large school of drum for the nearshore fleet to get into with plenty of action going on they also had ribbonfish.

Get in on some of the action we have boats standing by you can check out all of our trips at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com or call the shop for any other info and bookings.

Send your fishing photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
