Corolla Fish Report
The conditions are ripe. We are seeing a good mullet bite along with croakers and spot. There has been some nice drum caught as well mostly in the early morning and in the evening. It seems that there is a lot of bait around as we have had reports of fish boiling out there but no one knows what they are, my guess blues and spanish and quite possibly some king mackerel as this is about the time of the year we start to see them and the reports have been that the fish are large. Despite Ernesto being off shore the conditions aren't too bad we do have clear water this morning and we do have a nice swell coming in and the worst part is going to be the rip current apparently it was pretty strong yesterday so it just maybe lure time to try and get anything. The piers have a mix on them with blues and spanish with small cobia, pinfish, and pigfish and there was one king mackerel caught on Jennette's pier. The nearshore fleet is still bagging some big drum, spanish, blues, and ribbons. Offshore there is a tournament going on but they are finding yellowfin, blackfin, mahi, and sailfish and what everyone is seeking blue marlin. So the saga continues and we keep going on.
