The Lundgrens are in town!!  They always send in reports to the shop and we appreciate it. While everyone is complaining about not catching fish or what there going to catch or if they're going to catch fish the Lundgren family seems to not have any trouble. They are from Cornwall NY and they were fishing on Carova Beach up here it was a rough day but his son Parker landed a couple of nice drum before having to head off of the beach as the tide was coming in and as of late the tide has been all the way up to the dune so high tide has been hard to fish. Parker well done and that's how it's done, folks.

We have some other reports with mullet, croakers, spot, and some blues, and that's all I have been able to come up with and even the piers were slow today. The ocean is still rough but does look better today and with any hope it will get better and the water is cleaner today. The waves still coming in at 3' to 4' and we do have a red flag out today. The surfers are enjoying the wave activity we do have a nice swell. The nearshore boats are at it and there are drum, trout, blues, spanish, and ribbons out there. The offshore action is mixed with mahi, blackfin, yellowfin, wahoo, sails, and blue marlin.

Charters are available call the shop to book and the crabbing and shrimping are excellent!!

Send your fishing photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and become a star like Parker!!  And we thank you all.
