Corolla Fish Report
It's still rough and tough out in the surf today with a strong rip current and the sea grass is a problem as well. We have had a couple of anglers in that have caught drum and mullet and even some ribbonfish but most anglers just complaining that they have caught nothing for two days and think that I have some magic answers. We all know what the answer is, that's why they call it fishing and not catching I tell them and just try to enjoy the day not every day is epic or good. Everyone who reads my reports and fishes here knows if you get a fish it's a bonus. Much cooler outside temps this week which is unusual for this time of the year but it is nice. There are a lot fewer people up here this month too and it is noticeable. I don't think we will see much of an improvement for the rest of this week. The piers saw some better fishing today with false albacore, triggerfish, sheepshead, pinfish, and croakers. With this strong current, the piers are your best bet. The nearshore fleet has ribbons, blues, spanish, drum. Offshore yellowfin, blackfin, wahoo, mahi some sails, and marlin.
Charters are available from 1/2 day to full day.
