Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Some rain, lots of wind, and rough surf = Drum I know it's new math but it does work! Chris and company laded there first I believe with a decent-sized bluefish and they're going out for more today. The Jenkins sent in some pics of their drum and we have the twins up in Carova Beach with a nice catch. We are having some good fishing up in Corolla right now the hardest thing to do is hold bottom and word from the beach is 8oz at this time with the wind not going to let up for at least this week. Certainly not the best conditions but if was easy everyone would be doing it. We also have blues, mullet, and croakers out there but the drum is the prize to land. The piers are also in the action pulling some drum over the rails so really just about everyone is getting some nice catches except for yours truly just can't get out of here but going to have to try soon. Not too much to report other than the surf action but the good news is there aren't any sunbathers out so the anglers have the beach all to themselves. No boat reports as it's just too windy to get out. I know you wondering and yes just about all of the drum were caught on fresh or frozen mullet!!

Keep sending those fish pics in to obxbaitandtackl@yahoo.com and we thank you all.
