Corolla Fish Report
Good Friday Morning. I was out yesterday feeling a bit under the weather but back today. It seems like after the rough weather we have had at late it is taking it's time to rebound. Today we have that north wind at 10 kts with a 2' to 3' foot swell and a water temp at 74 so you can't ask for too much better for drum fishing. There is still a strong rip today and I don't think it's going away too soon so heavy tackle is a must to hold the bottom. One report this morning is that seagrass is back which is a problem in it's self but what can you do. I know we have had bluefish in the surf and there are reports of drum and blues at the piers but that's about all I can pick up this morning. The offshore boats did go out but I think it was only one boat but did bring back plenty of mahi.
