Corolla Fish Report

OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report
Tuesday, October 1, 2024
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Proof that your never to young to start!!  Today we have morning rain and cloudy out. That North East wind is picking back up for the next few days making the ocean rough and we have reports of a lot of seaweed in the water this morning. To add insult to injury we also have an extreme high tide for the next few days to boot. Hopefully October manages to pull it self out of this nasty fall weather we have had because I have had enough of this. We are getting a drum here and there and a mullet or blue but this is not the norm for this time of year. The last two days we have had clean clear water with bait fish right up on shore but the fishing remains to be slow. The last couple of days reports of a lot of sharks hitting and breaking lines and after you loose enough tackle it's time to wrap it up. Just have to hope for the best I guess at this point I will keep you updated as conditions change.
