Corolla Fish Report
No change yet double red flags are up again! This rip current just won't go away and for the next few days at best, it will remain the same. The weather has been great it's just the angry ocean. The only way to beat this current is to hit one of the piers and use the current to your advantage and they are seeing a couple large drum today, trout, pompano, flounder, mullet, and spot. In the surf it is just hit and miss and a lot of work. Drum fishing up here in Corolla on our charter boat has been doing very good along with some nice trout. Everyone that comes in is asking what's the best bait to be using and with the rough surf and lack of reports there is not one thing or anything that stands out from one another just pick something and go with it. It is hard to give advice when you're not getting any feedback or reports you just go with your gut or luck. No offshore reports today I will keep you updated as best as I can.
