Another rough and windy day. The ocean has not disappointed today it is rough surf with a high tide way up on the beach. The water is churned up today and there have been some fish caught but not a lot. The best fishing has been on the sound side we have a couple of gentlemen tearing it up as they have a house sound side with a nice dock and they are getting plenty of drum. There is plenty of drum on that side we had a charter on what was a really windy day yesterday and a boy and his father went out for a half day trip in the morning and caught 30 drum and came in early as the boy had enough and was cold but they had caught their share of fish and had a great time. One offshore boat out and came in with blackfin, yellowfin, and a couple of mahi. That's all I have for today what with the surf fishing being what it is.

We do have charters available just call the shop to get yours.

Yes, we do need some fishing photos, and you can send them to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and get yourself some bragging rights!!
