Corolla Fish Report

Back at It. I haven't been able to get into my account the last couple of days, but I'm back in. I said I would be open on the first, but we had a couple of setbacks, but we do have our first load of bait coming in tomorrow, so I will be there. The biggest news is that there have been bluefin tuna very close to shore, and they started off about two days ago. There were a couple of hookups on Jennette's pier, one angler spooled, and the other broke off. I had a text from one of our own up here who was fishing down at Avon, and the tuna were popping, and he was hooked up from the beach but lost the fish. The bluefin are just about a mile outside the Inlet, but for how long nobody knows, but a great time to get some. There have been some large fish caught, but all down south, still quiet up here for now, but hopefully not for long. The water temp is just around 52, so not too bad.
I have been getting some inquiries on charter fishing, so you can call the shop or e-mail me, and we can get you all set up for the season, and the whole fleet should be running shortly.
