Corolla Fish Report

More of the same for today. We have a strong north wind today, just like yesterday, with rough surf, and it is cool out. I am not seeing anyone on the beach, and one local fisherman said 10 ounces would not hold yesterday. We will just have to wait for some better conditions, and that's just the way the springtime treats us, warm one week and the next cool. No reports of anyone catching anything today. We have been seeing some decent-sized bluefish starting to hit, along with croakers and mullet. There are some drum along the beach and definitely around the inlet, and the bluefin are still here with plenty of yellowfin offshore, so it's a really great time to hit the water. The water temp for today is coming in at 54 degrees.
The charter desk is open for those wanting to book a trip, and we do have boats ready to go.
You can also send in your fishing pictures in to us at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com, and we will proudly put you in the fishing report, and we thank you.
