Corolla Fish Report

As the season begins! It's a breeze but nice out today. The fishing seems to be improving a bit from the effects of the last cold front that we had. We're starting to see some puppy drum, mullet, puffers, and bluefish. The water today is a little dirty along the shoreline but not too bad, with one-foot waves and a temperature of 55 degrees. The nearshore boats, best that I can tell, are finding drum and bluefish. The offshore boats are getting plenty of yellowfin, big eye, and some king mackerel.
The phones are ringing for charter trips, and now is a good time to be looking into and booking your trip early rather than later. This will ensure you get the day and trip you want. Waiting till the last minute makes it tough in a lot of ways, so book today!!
You can send your fish pics to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com, and we will put you in the fish report, and we thank you.
