Warm weather ahead! Today's pick was sent in by Liam Marrs from Virginia. Father and son are fishing up on the 4x4 beach, and so far, Liam is the only one to land a fish, or at least so far. Keep trying, Liam. I have a feeling there's a big one with your name on it. This week has been slow, but things can turn around anytime. I did get a couple of reports of over slot size drum being landed this week with some mullet, and obviously, there are spot out there too. From the piers they are seeing shad, puffers, and a few bluefish this morning. Offshore, plenty of yellowfin to be had, and the nearshore boats had slot size drum, bluefish, and lots of throwback sea bass. There are not many long-range boats running right now, so it is a great time to go offshore if you're thinking of an all-day trip. No boat traffic is a good thing.

Charters are available. Give me a call at the shop, and we will get you all set up.

Send those fishing pictures to us at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com, and we will put you in the next fish report, and we thank you.
