Corolla Fish Report

The freezer is in!! Finally, the new one arrived and is up and running. For those coming in this weekend, we should be ok on bait, and we will get resupplied Monday and Tuesday and be back to normal. This has been a pretty good week for surf fishing. Plenty of bluefish have been caught, with most of them in the 18" to 20" range. We have seen some red drum and some really beefy black drum. We are seeing spanish to our south, and they will eventually get up our way. I would think there are mullet and croakers out and about, but I am not hearing much about them. Some big reds reported down towards Hatteras of course. We have had a good weather week with plenty of crystal clear water but this may change with some bad weather coming in. It was very windy this morning, but the afternoon turned out to be pretty nice. The water temp is just under the 60-degree mark for today. We do want to welcome a new boat coming into the lineup called the Patriot, run by Captain Mitch and will be up on our web sight soon for your fishing adventures.
Charters are available, just call the shop for any and all details we have many trips to choose from.
Send those fish pics to us at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
