Corolla Fish Report
Talk about the blues. We have a gloomy day today, but that was not the case yesterday, as you can see in the pictures. Young Tucker Fors from Kunkletown, PA, landed a couple of whoppers fishing down in Duck with cut bait, and a couple got away, but still a great catch, so well done, Tucker. Joseph also sent in his catch of some blues fishing down at Pine Island area, and enjoyed the action as these fish were caught in the morning hours. We did have some good reports coming into the shop yesterday. Gary from Gary's rod repair was in and he landed a 31" drum and a 27" bluefish along with other fish, fishing the morning hours up on the 4x4 beach. It seems the bite has been in the morning and at dusk. The piers have also seen some good action on the bluefish as well. The fish are out there, most of the bluefish caught have been on cut mullet, and the drum on shrimp, and some mullet. The rain may keep most off the beach for today, but we will see, stay tuned.
