Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

The storm has passed. I was out of the office yesterday, and I heard the surf was rough despite it being a beautiful day out. Today is looking pretty sweet, with clear water and a nice swell. The bluefish are still on the prowl, and we should see a good mix of fish today with an SSE wind at 5 kt. On the piers this morning, mullet and blues so far. I would say right now, this week, the mornings are going to be your best times to fish, as we have seen the wind pick up in the afternoons. The nearshore fleet is seeing some really good fishing with limits of cobia and some big bluefish. The offshore fleet is getting plenty of yellowfin and mahi yesterday. The key for some of these bigger fish has been on a fish finder rig, a mullet rig, and a Carolina-style rig with a nice chunk of mullet, but don't rule out shrimp. The beaches are wide open for your enjoyment, so enjoy it, for it won't be much longer before the crowds hit.

The charter desk is open for bookings call the shop to book yours today, as the fishing is excellent!!

Send those fish pics to us at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.,
