Corolla Fish Report
Rain this morning with a sunny afternoon. The fishing in some ways did slow up this week for some, while others did pretty well. When folks were catching fish, it was for a brief period. Nevertheless, Ethan sent in some photos of the last couple of days, and he is doing well with some nice bluefish and drum. Most of the fish caught were on cut mullet, with one of the drum on shrimp, so that is the two main baits working. Jennette's pier of late has had some very good fishing for sheepshead and bluefish, and they had some early this morning. Today, the ocean as we move into high tide is a rough one. There is some wind and fairly big swells coming in with a good chop to the water. I am hoping that the fishing does pick up for the rest of the week as the tides come back into alignment.
I am looking for two anglers to do a 6-hour trip on June 23rd, leaving the dock at 6 am and returning at noon. This would be a make-up trip and share the cost with four other folks. If interested, please call the shop and we can get you all hooked up. The cost would be 184.00 + tip per angler.
Charters are available.
