Good Saturday Morning!! No waves but clean clear water at 70 degrees today. For last week week plenty of mullet, croaker, kingfish, spot some small puppy drum and Sharks!! So we should see much the same for this week. Todays photo sent in by John Waters who sent in a great report and he was fishing with a bottom rig with fishbites and caught all the mullet he wanted then moved to lures in the late afternoon and he had several hits but landed one blue but that's the way to approach this next week and thanks for the report John it helps out in the shop greatly. I do think the late afternoons will pay of this week as the high tides is swing around. The dreaded current has been somewhat of an issue and the sea grass which I hope is better this week. Some sheepshead thus far on Jennette's Pier The nearshore fleet have some good drum fishing with blues and spanish. Offshore yellowfin, wahoo, mahi and assorted billfish.

Charters are available call the shop to book yours today.

Send your fish pics to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
