Corolla to Nags Head Sound

It's all about Tim's Shark Week. What is going on out there? Tim, the boy on the left, has NO ARMS!! But the second photo I see he's ok, WHEW!!
It seems the fishing was pretty good yesterday however, today we have a wind shift coming from the north, and I have already heard that dreaded sea grass is back. The wind will shift a bit tomorrow, and we will finish out the week with some favorable wind direction. We are seeing a ton of spot in the water along with mullet and croakers. Captain Mitch took a group out for a six-hour trip and had a good day, reeling in a couple of mahi, amberjacks, sea bass, and tilefish. As I understand, the six-hour trips are doing very well right now, with a bunch of mahi yesterday, along with other good stuff, so it's a good time for a short charter. The surf has a chop to it today, but the water temp is at 77 today, so get out there and get yourself some!!

Charters are available, and the shrimping is also very good!! call the shop for details and bookings.

Send you fishing photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com, and we thank you
