OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report

Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

What can I say! Another hot one with the water temp at 79 and one-foot waves. There were brief moments yesterday when the grass and the current took a break, and you could catch all the fish you wanted in that hour, and then it would return to being rough. I have not heard much from the beach this morning, as folks are still getting started. However, we did have a report of a keeper drum caught this morning. We have not seen many this year, and it was caught on cut mullet. From the piers, they have mullet, flounder, pigfish, spot, sea bass, and spanish. The nearshore boats had a good day with some nice size spanish and mahi!! while the offshore had billfish, mahi, and tuna. Along the surf, plenty of mullet, kingfish, croakers, flounder, and spot.

Charters are available call the shop for details and bookings.
