Not pretty. This will be a rough week for those coming in. The north wind and waves will be here for the week, and it does not look like they will let up till next Saturday. This last week, I did come across some reports of some keeper drum being caught up on the 4x4 beach so that was some good news. This week will be a different story as we will have red flags flying, I am sure, for the week. The fishing wasn't too bad last week, and many anglers caught a bunch of fish, mostly small, as far as mullet, croaker, and spot go, and there were some decent bluefish caught as well. This week, you may want to try your luck from a pier to beat this current we will have. For asking the question on what it will take to hold bottom this week, my answer will be a bunch!! As for charters, it will be difficult to get out of the inlet, and if you do, it's going to be a bumpy ride, but you may get out for some bay fishing charters. I know not the best of news for the incoming groups, but we will see what happens.
