Corolla Fish Report

Going to be a warm one today, and we have a fairly stiff wind from the south. Nothing to really report as we do still have cold water temps up here, and we are seeing skate and dogfish, and for those of you that don't know, dogfish are good eating!! And we are seeing plenty of them on squid and mullet. I am seeing the same from the piers as well, and the water has been dirty the last few days, but so far today it does look a bit better this morning. The offshore fishing does have warm water, and they are seeing tuna and mahi. The best fishing for charters has been close to shore as the giant bluefin are still in close and you may keep anything under 73". You can get one on 4 or 6-hour trips for now. Jennette's pier remains closed for replanking, and construction is underway and should be completed by the summer rush—that's it for now, not a whole lot to report.
