Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

More of the same rough surf today and windy. They say the wind will back off tonight, but my charts show otherwise, so we will wait and see. The weekend is supposed to be nice for those coming in next week, and we will warm back up as today is on the cool side. As far as the fishing goes still slow up here with dogfish and skate, and very few out there today. Word has it that the fishing is moving up the coast, and the fishing is starting to pick up just south of Oregon Inlet. The further you head south, the better, as they have some nice warm water at this time, and I heard it's around 64 degrees. The offshore fish is still good with black and bluefin caught, and no one can get out of the inlet to go after the big bluefin. At this time, we just have to wait on the wind and waves to lay down, but the last word I heard is that they are still around. That's all I have for today, but I will keep you up to date.

We are taking early bookings for this year's charters, both ocean and sound side trips, and we do offer surf fishing lessons. Call the shop anytime to book, and our current hours are 9 to 3 pm.'s
