We finally have a good fishing day. This morning was very nice out with great conditions, clean, clear water with a 1' to 2 foot swell. We started to hear about some bluefish yesterday, and then this morning we had some good reports. Last night some folks scored some nice ones, and then more this morning, and they are good-sized blues, so they are here at last, can't wait to get out there myself. We just need some more days like this one. We also have a Canadian group this week, and they brought in their first shark, and it was a big sand tiger. I haven't received the picture yet, so we will see. Today's pic was sent in by Beth. We love her at the shop; she keeps us updated with what's happening out there when she's here, but she scored a nice black drum today, well done, Beth. So, a big improvement today, and we did really need it as the weather has not been great as of late. If you're here now, I would definitely hit the surf at dusk tonight as they should be on the bite. Mullet has been working the best, I would say, and good luck, and I would be tossing a lure as well.
