Corolla Fish Report
Despite the rain this morning, we had some good looking conditions which did erode away by noon, and the birds were working along with the porpoise. Jordan, Sean Galen, and Corey, all from Canada, I believe, are getting the job done. They have been working the beach for sure. I think it was Jordan in today, and he has been landing some big bluefish and even a good-sized trout this morning, along with another sand tiger, so nothing has stopped these guys from landing any fish. So well done, you guys!!
The water temp came up a degree to 58 so inch by inch we are trying to get to the good numbers. Cut mullet has been working, but lures are your best option for those large bluefish, not to mention more fun as well. Stormy today, and the air temperature dropped this afternoon, but we will rise above it soon enough. So there is some action to be had, it's not red hot, Yet, but improving. I will keep you posted.
Charters are available. Call the shop for details.
Send those fishing photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com, and we will use them for our fishing report and make you a star for the day. We thank you.
