Corolla Fish Report

Well, if you weren't here yesterday, you missed out. Apparently, there was a good striper bite going on; I have had a bunch of reports this morning of folks landing these guys. Today's pick was sent in by Abby Lecter, who came in for some tackle and advice, and scored this whopper with her friend Nick Kurtz, with the assist. All the fish seem to be 38" to 40" plus, and I don't think I have seen or heard of that many striper up here getting landed. The worst part is nobody informed me that this was going on, I had to sit at home and clean carpets, HUH, oh well. I will say yesterday was beautiful, and today we do have some wind, and the ocean has some chop to it. The good news is the water temp is up to 61 this morning. The big bluefish are out there as well, and more reports this morning are coming in, and they are chewing up anglers' lines. You may not get them all, but there's some good action going on right now. It seems everyone is catching large fish; there are no reports of any mullet or croakers. Go figure, so all the anglers are as happy as clams, so to speak.
Charters are wide open. Call the shop for details.
