I'm back after a few days off, and it felt good. Today, the ocean is flat, but a strong current remains. I did catch wind of a good bluefish run a couple of days ago, and those fish are still around. The shark fishermen are having a good time with plenty of sharks being caught and released. We do get an occasional drum or striper landed along with mullet. The water temp is holding at 61, but we do have a warm weather stretch rolling through. The offshore fleet has picked up with mahi, yellowfin, wahoo, seabass, and tilefish, with a 419# blue marlin landed. The nearshore boats are doing well with bluefish, amberjacks, and cobia. The piers have flounder, mullet, and bluefish. That's the best I have for now as I try to catch back up. I will say there are more people who came in this week than we have seen as of late, which is a good thing.

Charters are open and available. Call the shop to book yours.
