Corolla Fish Report
What a way to end the week. The bluefish are still here and biting, and what's really strange is the striper bite. We typically see a small handful of these fish up here, and this year, there have been quite a few being caught. Lots of pictures today, and this really is just some of the action we have had here. Linda, or as I call her, the Queen of the sea, with her group, has done very well landing these blues and striper, and she manages to catch quality fish every time she is here. She's a champ. Michael and his group sent in some more shots of what they have caught, and they too have done well this week, so all the people checking in this week, the bar has been set pretty high. These are just some of the pictures I have received or seen there are more folks that had striper and there have been some great stories to go along with them. Off to the piers, they are seeing triggerfish and bluefish. The nearshore fleet has Spanish and is bringing in some really nice cobia. The offshore boats are just having too much fun with loads of good-grade yellowfin, wahoo, and tilefish. The marlin bite has been off the charts, with plenty of blue marlin and white marlin coming in. So, in other words, the offshore fishing is HOT right now.
We do have charters, so if you need one, we have it call the shop for details and bookings.
Send you fishing photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com, and I will try my best to keep up, and we thank you.
