OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report
Monday, June 8, 2026
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Different kind of day. It was sweltering hot yesterday then the cold front came threw and the air temp dropped within seconds so it is much cooler today. The north east wind is out and the surf is rough as you might expect with a heavy rip. Not very much happening off of the beach today as the water temp went from 69 to 63 so there is a cold up dwelling. The wind should lay back down in the early morning tomorrow but the waves will continue for another day or two before calming down for the rest of the week so I think things will get back to normal. There were a few folks catching fish today but nothing to get excited about. There were some bluefish from the piers today. Nearshore boats and offshore boats continue to be very good. The offshore had tons of mahi with some very nice yellowfin. I will keep you posted and hopefully have a better report.

Charters are available call the shop for details.
