Good and Bad. Some anglers are still struggling to get anything, and others are just hitting it. So a short story the Price brothers are in town and they mostly shark fish but they do like to experiment. So they went to the beach with a light zebco rod and they had a half eaten Slim Jim so I think you know where I am going, yep they threw it out and brought in a 30" red drum. Now it was not easy as they fought it for two hours but nothing much surprises me with these two as they always catch something in a way you just wouldn't believe but the proof is in the pictures. We have had some good day and some slow ones. The wind this week has been all over the place and yesterday we had some really good conditions with a nice swell and then today south west wind and a flat ocean. We have also had a few up dwellings and the water is warm one day and cold the next which does not make the fish very happy. Today we have manage to hold at 70 degrees but something tells me that there are still cold pockets of ocean in some locations. There have been some big mullet around as well and I mean big for mullet. The piers have spanish, blues, croaker and spot. The offshore fleet finally posted a fish report today. They had a good one today with yellowfin, big eye, wahoo, mahi and tilefish. On they way back and a quick stop around the towers I would think amberjacks and spanish. That's it for today and we star all over so things will get quite as this group leaves and the new ones come in.

Charters are picking up so if your thinking of one book when you can we had a lot of last minute ones this week and boats where booked up. Call the shop for details.

Send in you fishing photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we of course thank you all!!
