Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Cloudy and a bit windy today. It seems that the weather has kept most people off the beach today, but the rest of the week is looking pretty good. Today's pic came from Calvin, and he landed this beauty around 8 am this morning, so well done, Calvin. Reports coming from off the beach is the water is super clear, with a temp of 74.  There are plenty of bluefish and spanish out there, along with mullet, croakers, and, of course, sharks. Today we do have a northeast wind, so the ocean is a little rough, but sometimes that's a good thing. This rough surf is really what we needed, as the piers came alive as well today with some early morning trout along with bluefish, spanish, mullet, and croakers. The offshore fleet is busy, and they're out there getting tuna, lots of mahi; I wouldn't be surprised to start to see some wahoo as we get into the full moon cycle. We do see the rest of the week looking pretty good.
